Cut Lists is built to be usable by everyone in your school community.
Last updated: July 2026
Our commitment
We want Cut Lists to be usable by students, teachers and technicians of all abilities. We design to recognised accessibility standards and continually work to improve the experience for everyone.
What we do
- Use clear, high-contrast colours and readable typography.
- Support keyboard navigation and screen readers across the app.
- Write content in plain, simple language suitable for students and staff.
- Label all interactive elements so assistive technology can describe them.
- Keep pages fast and lightweight for low-bandwidth connections.
- Provide a responsive design that works on phones, tablets and computers.
Standards we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level. We regularly review the app and address accessibility issues as they are identified.
